• • FY2026-27 (from 1 July 2026, NBR rate table): BEV CBU 25% customs duty + 5% regulatory duty + supplementary duty by value (0% up to $25,000, 10% for $25,000–50,000, 45% for $50,000–100,000, 60% for $100,000–200,000, 100% above $200,000), total tax incidence 64.25% / 80.18% / 135.91% / 159.80% / 223.50%; petrol cars of 1201–1600cc go from 45% to 60% supplementary duty (159.80% total)
