Right-hand-drive cars cannot be imported. EAEU common tariff: new passenger cars 15% duty, used petrol cars 20% or EUR 1.5 per cc (over 7 years) (estimate); BEVs have a 20,000-unit zero-duty quota in 2026 (manufactured 2024 or later, 15% once exhausted; 15% is used here to be safe), and the same BEVs imported 1 Feb–31 Dec 2026 are also exempt from 20% VAT (20% kept here; qualifying cars pay one tax less). The import environmental tax is 2% (up to 3 years) to 24% (over 15 years) of CIF and shows on the page as the age surcharge. Sea freight to Poti, then road via Tbilisi to Yerevan; private imports use the EAEU unified payment table (48–54% of value or EUR per cc, whichever is higher), which differs from the company tariff.
