- • Batteries need an MSDS; used cars need a pre-shipment condition and conformity inspection (PVoC)

The main entry port is Conakry. Under the 2025 Revised Finance Law, new vehicles and BEVs enjoy significant incentives with 10% customs duty and complete exemptions on VAT and excise tax (total border levy around 12.75%), whereas used cars face over 47% cumulative border taxes. Strict regulatory limits apply: vehicles older than 13 years and all RHD cars are prohibited.
