• من يمكنه الاستيراد: Companies and individuals (import declaration DDI through the GUCEG single window, plus DNTT type approval)

• Left-hand drive only; right-hand-drive cars are refused entry
• Used cars must be no more than 13 years old
• New cars and battery-electric cars pay 10% duty and are fully exempt from VAT and excise (about 12.75% at the border in total)
• Used cars pay 20% duty, 5% special excise and 18% VAT
• Batteries need an MSDS; used cars need a pre-shipment condition and conformity inspection (PVoC)

The main entry port is Conakry. Under the 2025 Revised Finance Law, new vehicles and BEVs enjoy significant incentives with 10% customs duty and complete exemptions on VAT and excise tax (total border levy around 12.75%), whereas used cars face over 47% cumulative border taxes. Strict regulatory limits apply: vehicles older than 13 years and all RHD cars are prohibited.
