Main port of entry is Owendo (Libreville). Total import tax burden on conventional passenger vehicles is around 58%-65% of CIF (30% tariff + 5% excise on >1500cc + 18% VAT plus regional integration levies), while BEVs enjoy an exemption from VAT. Prior to shipment, BIETC cargo tracking and PROGEC CoC inspection are mandatory, and used cars are subject to strict customs valuation guides.
