The normal BEV rate is 5%; Council of Ministers Decision 54/26 cuts newly built BEVs to 0% and new hybrids to 5% (normally 15%) until 31 December 2026, with a Foreign Trade Chamber certificate at entry; used BEVs pay 5%, but this page treats every BEV at 0%, so a used BEV is understated by about $1,170 (estimate).
