Quién puede importar y qué entra

• Antigüedad máxima 5 años
• Quién puede importar: Companies need an NTN / STRN and WeBOC importer registration; individuals may import a new car for own use, and used cars can come either through the commercial route opened in Sept 2025 or the gift / baggage / transfer-of-residence schemes for overseas Pakistanis
• Right-hand drive only; a China-spec left-hand-drive car cannot be registered (LHD is limited to diplomatic / special permits)
• Used cars: commercial import runs under Import Policy Order 2022, Appendix C, S.No. 10 (xvi) (Commerce SRO 1895(I)/2025, up to 5 years old, originally until 30 June 2026); from 1 July 2026 SRO 1065(I)/2026 adds a 30% regulatory duty on top of the normal regulatory duty in SRO 1064(I)/2026. Whether the age cap was lifted after June 2026 has not been confirmed in an official text (estimate)
• CBU battery-electric cars (customs value up to $50,000) get the 25% concessionary duty under Fifth Schedule Part V(A) S.No. 7 until 30 June 2027 (above $50,000: statutory 30% duty + 4% additional duty); FED (Federal Excise Act, First Schedule S.No. 55A): 0% up to $75,000, 30% for $75,000–110,000, 40% above $110,000; sales tax 12.5% for CBU EVs with a battery of 50 kWh or less (Sales Tax Act, Eighth Schedule S.No. 79), otherwise 18%

Right-hand drive only, so a China-spec LHD car cannot be registered; used cars may be imported commercially with an extra 30% regulatory duty from July 2026, but whether the former 5-year age cap has been lifted is unconfirmed (estimate). New 1.5L petrol: 40% duty + 8% regulatory duty + 4% additional duty (52% in total) + 10% FED (30% for 1.8–2.0L, plus 86–92% special excise above 2.0L) + 18% sales tax + 5.5–6% advance income tax (on the duty-paid value); CBU battery-electric cars (up to $50,000) pay 25% duty (concession until 30 June 2027), 0% FED (up to $75,000) and 18% sales tax (12.5% for batteries of 50 kWh or less).
