Qui peut importer et ce qui entre

• Âge maximum 10 ans
• Qui peut importer : Individuals and companies may import; customs pre-checks Euro 4 and age against the VIN, manufacture date and model documents
• Passenger cars more than 10 years from manufacture cannot be imported (vintage and temporary admission excepted); Euro 4 or better required
• New BEVs are duty-free, used ones pay the petrol rates: BEVs up to 3 years from manufacture pay 0% duty (Cabinet Decision 411 of 2022, still in the consolidated tariff as of Sep 2026), older BEVs 15%; this page charges BEVs at the petrol rates. The BEV / hybrid VAT exemption was abolished on 1 January 2026, 18% now applies
• Petrol-car duty is per cc: up to 1,500 cc new USD 0.4, used 0.7; above 1,500 cc new 0.7, used 1.2; a car counts as used once 1 year has passed since manufacture, regardless of mileage

Passenger cars more than 10 years old cannot be imported; Euro 4 or better required. Duty is per cc (consolidated Cabinet Decision 500 tariff): up to 1,500 cc new USD 0.4 per cc (1.5L ≈ USD 600, about 3%), used 0.7 (≈ 5%); above 1,500 cc new 0.7, used 1.2; a car counts as used once 1 year has passed since manufacture, regardless of mileage. New BEVs are duty-free, used ones pay the petrol rates: BEVs up to 3 years old pay 0% (Decision 411, still in force) and older BEVs actually pay 15%; this page charges BEVs at the petrol rates, overstating new BEVs by about 3% and understating BEVs over 3 years by about 10 points (estimate). Excise is per cc: up to 2,000 cc AZN 0.3 per cc (1.5L ≈ AZN 450 ≈ USD 265, shown as a fixed fee and left out of the VAT base), x1.5–2 for cars over 7 years, BEVs have no engine size so in practice 0; VAT 18% on CIF + duty + excise, the BEV / hybrid exemption was abolished on 1 January 2026. Sea freight to Poti / Batumi (Georgia) then road to Baku, or China–Europe rail direct.
