• Who can import: Individuals (ID) and companies (tax ID NIF, statistical number STAT) may import; used cars go through the CIVIO identification procedure and pay GasyNet fees
• Pre-shipment inspection: CIVIO identification inspection for used cars on arrival; new-EV relief needs MIDAC documents and an inspection (EUR 50)
• No used-car age limit was found; used cars need a CIVIO identification inspection and are valued on Argus reference prices
• Right-hand-drive cars cannot be registered; ship left-hand drive only
• Duty / VAT exemption applies only to new battery-electric cars (8703.80.10, MIDAC certification); used BEVs (8703.80.20) pay 20% duty + 10% excise + 20% VAT, so this page under-quotes used BEVs (estimate)
