EU duty 10% + BTW 21%; the BPM purchase tax rises steeply with CO₂: BEVs pay only €687, PHEV / range-extender default to 40 g/km, petrol defaults to 150 g/km (about €13,000) — BPM on high-emission cars is heavy, so enter the certified figure; the diesel surcharge is not included; Chinese-spec cars need RDW single-vehicle approval; new Chinese-built BEVs get the maker's countervailing duty automatically, used cars exempt.
